NewEscrow Pro, Resilience, Continuity and Agentic Verification: from holding the code to proving it comes back. The new line-up is here.See what's new
Why this page changed. Production opens with "We won't rest until we turn your software risk into bulletproof resilience so we can all sleep better." That breaks two rules: it's an absolute ("bulletproof") and it leans on fear ("sleep better"). The new hero states one fact (since 2014) and the job we do today, in the brief's canonical sentence.
  • A company page touches fewer arc steps. This one covers the shift (our story, from holding code to proving it comes back), the model (what we do today) and the next step. It contradicts none of the others.
  • The team photo is a placeholder. Production has no team photos or names. A real photo does more for an About page than any illustration.
About Codekeeper

Protecting critical software since 2014.

Codekeeper began as source code escrow for developers. Today it's Software Resilience: we hold what it takes to bring each application back, prove it works, and release it to you, recover it for you, or keep it switched on while we do.

  • Founded 2014
  • Trusted by 3,500+ teams
  • ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified

The mission, in the brief's voice. The headline is the approved one-line story, so the mission and the product say the same thing. The first sentence keeps production's founding reason (organisations being asked to prove their software resilience, with no simple way to do it) without "impossible pressure" or "guarantee their software continuity". The three principles are the canonical lines from MESSAGING §2 and §3, written as what we believe.

Our mission

Keep your software running. Whatever happens.

We started Codekeeper because organisations were being asked to prove their software could recover, and there was no simple way to do it. Every business runs on applications it doesn't control. When one fails, there should be a plan already in place, and proof that it works.

Having it back is the goal

Holding the code is the start. Our work is about bringing the application back, whether you run the recovery or we do.

Proof beats promises

Every protection comes with evidence, and the higher levels prove more: what's in the deposit, that it builds, and that you could exit and keep working.

One account for every application

The applications you build and the ones you buy, each with the protection it needs, and deposits that keep themselves up to date.

Step 2, the shift, told as our own history. The milestones are production's "Our journey", oldest first, ending on the new line-up. Three things to confirm before launch:
  • "The first feature to keep escrow deposits updated automatically" (2018) is production's claim ("the world's first automatic deposit sync feature"). It's flagged: a source is needed, or the claim goes.
  • The last row says "Now", not a year. No launch date is confirmed, so none is invented.
  • Production's names are updated: "SaaS Continuity Escrow" (2020) is an old product name, so the row says "continuity for SaaS". The 2024 free disaster recovery planner is left out to keep the list on the platform; add it back if it's still live.
The links go to production's blog posts. Note that production's blog index lives on /about-us itself: when this page replaces it, the posts need a new listing page.

Our story

From source code escrow to Software Resilience.

We launched Codekeeper in 2014 to bring source code escrow into the tools developers already use.

In 2018 we introduced Automatic Deposit Sync, the first feature to keep escrow deposits updated automatically. Deposits could update themselves, without manual uploads and without falling out of step with the released version.

Four major platform versions followed. Today Codekeeper protects software, SaaS and AI applications with Escrow, Resilience, Continuity and Backup, and Agentic Verification proves a deposit builds, in hours.

Step 3, the model: what we do today, in one row. Production's About page names "three main solutions" and still calls one "Continuity Escrow". The three job cards are the same ones the Escrow, Resilience and Continuity pages use, without prices (a company page doesn't need them), so the price logic sentence isn't required here. Backup and the Exit Exercise get one line under the cards.

The people, and how we work. Production's "Join our mission" text is kept in substance (in it for the long haul; a resilient app starts with a resilient organisation) and shortened. "Remote-first" comes from production's January 2025 press release title; confirm it still describes the company. The "Meet the team" film is the one suggested in the video plan for this page. The security strip names ISO/IEC 27001:2022 only: production's badge row also shows ISO 27017, ISO 27018, ISO 9001, SOC, PCI and CSA, which MESSAGING §6 says not to claim until confirmed. Our team

A resilient application starts with a resilient team.

We're in it for the long term. We work remote-first, and we build our product, our teams and our company for both effectiveness and wellbeing, from design to support and operations.

  • Legal, technical and onboarding specialists in one team
  • An in-house legal team for agreements
  • A dedicated information security team

Where to find us, with one thing to fix. The addresses are production's. Production lists the same San Francisco address for both North America and Asia Pacific. Either confirm San Francisco serves Asia Pacific (then add it to that card) or give the Asia Pacific address. Also note that the San Francisco address is a PMB (a private mailbox), so this page says "where to find us" rather than "headquarters". The contact line is production's.

Who we are, in the questions people ask. Production's About FAQ names customers that aren't in the approved logo set (GE, Deloitte, Daimler, P&G, KPMG, EY) and calls Codekeeper "secure and reliable" with "enterprise-grade encryption". The answers here name no customers (the logo strip does that), describe the line-up in canonical terms and point security questions to the Trust Center. Production's link to "/security-portal" is replaced by the Trust Center page.

Questions

About Codekeeper.

What is Codekeeper?

Codekeeper is a Software Resilience company, founded in 2014. We protect the applications businesses can't lose, the ones they build and the ones they buy: we hold what it takes to bring each one back, prove it works, and release it, recover it or keep it switched on while we recover.

What does Codekeeper offer?

Four protections for each application: Escrow (released to you), Resilience (recovered by us), Continuity (the live environment kept paid and switched on for an agreed period while we recover) and Backup. Escrow Pro, Resilience Pro and Continuity include Agentic Verification. The Exit Exercise is an add-on to any plan. See pricing

Who uses Codekeeper?

3,500+ teams, from regulated enterprises to fast-growing software vendors. You'll find some of their logos at the top of this page.

Is Codekeeper secure?

Codekeeper is ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, audited by BSI. Deposits are encrypted at rest with AES-256, and Agentic Verification runs on our own models. The Trust Center sets out our controls and the documents you can request.

How can I assess my software risk?

Take our free software risk assessment. You answer questions about the software you use and who you depend on, and we send you a report on where you might be exposed, with practical next steps.

Are you hiring?

See our open roles.

How can I contact Codekeeper?

Email contact@codekeeper.co, or book a demo to talk through your applications with our team. Existing customers can contact support.

The same close on every page. An About page is often the last check before contact, so the close invites the conversation directly. It replaces production's 'Let's build bulletproof software resilience together.' Every page ends on the same two actions in the same order: Book a demo, then the sample evidence pack.

Let's protect the applications you can't lose.

Tell us about your stack. We'll show you what each protection covers and what it costs.
